How candidates consent to receive text messages on Vett
Vett (operated by Endlessforms LLC, Spring, TX) is a B2B recruiting platform. Independent recruiters use Vett to communicate one-to-one with job candidates who have applied to or expressed interest in a specific role. Messages are application-status updates, interview scheduling, and conversational replies from the recruiter. This is not a marketing or promotional broadcast program.
A candidate clicks a recruiter's apply link and lands on a Vett-hosted application form for a specific job. The form collects the candidate's name, email, and mobile number. Above the submit button is an unchecked SMS consent checkbox. Consent is optional and is never a condition of applying. Below is the exact consent UI as it appears on the live form:
On submit, Vett records the candidate's name, mobile number, the
checkbox state, the page URL, and a timestamp as the proof of consent. The live form is
reachable per-job at https://vett4fit.com/apply/{token}, where {token}
is unique to each recruiter's job posting; this page reproduces the identical consent UI for
verification.
A candidate may give a recruiter their mobile number directly (for example during a phone screen) and verbally agree to be texted about the role. The recruiter records this consent before any SMS is sent. The first message identifies the sender and includes opt-out instructions.
